What is the Healthy Vision Association?

The Healthy Vision Association is dedicated to helping people see well and be healthy by providing access that consumers might not have through an employer to products, services and information that promote vision and overall health. Consumers can join the Association by paying the required $18 annual membership fee.

Why should I enroll in the Healthy Vision Association?

What vision and health related charities will the Healthy Vision Association support?

The Association’s Board of Directors will carefully select, sponsor, and support vision and health related charities whose missions align well with the Association’s purpose. Our goal is to provide support to at least two qualified not-for-profit charities each year. The Association newsletter will also highlight the charities that we have supported.

Is the Healthy Vision Association available to consumers in every state?

The Healthy Vision Association is available nationwide. The vision benefit made available to members for purchase from VSP is available all states except Florida, New York, and Oregon.

How do I enroll?

To enroll in the Healthy Vision Association, click here to download a membership application. Mail your completed application and a check for $18 made out to “Healthy Vision Association,” to: Healthy Vision Association, 12444 Powerscourt Dr, Suite 500A, St Louis, MO 63131. You can also enroll in the Healthy Vision Association when purchasing a VSP vision plan on VSPDirect.com or through one of the Association’s other partners: eHealth.com; Extend Health, Connected Health, Go Health, American Health Insurance Exchange, Hackercare.org and other partners.

How much is membership in the Healthy Vision Association?

Membership is just $18 per year.

How do I pay for the membership?

The Healthy Vision Association requires payment annually. You can pay by personal check made out to “Healthy Vision Association” for $18. Include your payment with your application. Click here to download a membership application. If you purchase a VSP individual vision plan at VSPDirect.com or through one of the Association’s partners, your Association membership fee will be added to your payment if you haven’t already enrolled

Will my membership be renewed automatically every year?

If you enroll by mailing in the application that you downloaded from this website, you will receive a renewal notice 30 days prior to your anniversary date.

If you enrolled in the Healthy Vision Association when you purchased a VSP Vision Care plan, you will receive a renewal notice for your Association membership and VSP Vision Care plan by mail 60 days prior to your anniversary date. VSP Vision Care policies automatically renew unless you notify VSP. To decline renewal of your vision care policy and Healthy Vision Association membership, look for specific instructions in the renewal letter that you will receive from VSP 60 days prior to your anniversary date.

What information will I receive as part of my membership?

If you enroll using the downloadable application here on healthyvisionassociation.com, you will receive program information in the mail including a summary of the services available and an ID card. If you enroll in the Association along with your purchase of a VSP vision plan through VSPDirect.com or one of the Association’s other partners such as Extend Health, eHealth.com, Connected Health, GoHealth, American Health Insurance Exchange, Hackercare.org and other partners, you will receive a vision plan welcome kit that includes your Association membership information and ID card.

You can expect to receive program information and ID card within 15 business days from the date you submit your application with payment. If you do not receive a brochure, call the Association at 833.418.0970.

When and how do I use my discounts?

You are eligible to access your association discounts as soon you receive your Association member ID card.

How do I enroll in VSP Vision Care if I enrolled in the Healthy Vision Association by mail?

You are eligible to access your Association discounts and benefits as soon as you receive your Healthy Vision Association member ID card. To enroll in VSP Vision Care, log on to the member section of healthyvisionassociation.com for information on how to purchase VSP Vision Care as an Association member.

Do I need an ID card to obtain membership discounts?

Yes. The Healthy Vision Association provides ID cards to access member services and discounts. Our discount partners will require you to provide your Association member ID card and/or number in order for you to receive the discounts they offer to our members.

How do I re-order a replacement ID card?

Contact the Association at 833.418.0970 to request a replacement Healthy Vision Association member ID card.

Why did I receive a newsletter from the Healthy Vision Association?

The Healthy Vision Association is required to provide their members with a newsletter once a year. The newsletter introduces new program information, summarizes current programs available and notifies you of the annual meeting of members.
